Addressing Needs in the Foster Care System

This episode features Dr. Christine Platt, who completed a Ph.D. and DNP simultaneously and shares her doctoral research on disabled children in the foster care system. She also offers her experiences as a mother to multiple foster children. Also featured are BYU nursing capstone students Gabrielle Warnick and Breanna Oliphant; perhaps the only undergraduate student presenters at this year’s American Psychiatric Nurses Association annual conference.
