Second, we discuss FAFSA—what it is, how to apply using FAFSA, why you should apply, what grants and loans might be available, etc. Listeners will hear from two members of BYU enrollment services to get information on that subject, as well as scholarships and other funding opportunities. Third, we have a conversation with BYU professor Dr. Peggy Anderson about the new Lippincott Procedures & ATI resources the college utilizes to help you prepare for clinicals and the NCLEX exam.

Our first guest is Dr. Blaine Winters, a nursing professor and regional nurse leader for the Utah/Nevada Region. The Red Cross is always looking for individuals to support their organization. Dr. Winters discusses the need for students or recent graduates to volunteer with relief opportunities you can be involved in both in your hometown and across the country. He is joined by Hannah Kaplin, a third-semester nursing student at BYU that shares her interest in a psychology minor. With just 19-hours of required credits, a psychology minor pairs nicely with nursing education. Kaplin explains ways her additional classes have benefited her in healthcare settings and with patient care.
